Restorative Justice & Post Traumatic Stress

So much work that  we do in restorative justice is done because it "feels right'. Scienctific scholarship is essential to checking our instincts and gaining recognition in the justice communities.   

 

One area of concern in restorative justice has been whether or not a restorative justice conference re-traumatizes victims.  Obviously this is of huge concern!   

The big news is that restorative justice processes do not contribute to post traumatic stress and might even be beneficial.   Read this article below for more information.
